Crew

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Do we need crew during Demo_Day Belgium?”]No during Demo_Day Belgium, apart from the speaker(s) for the breakout session and the pitch interview, you do not need a crew.

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I get extra tickets for my own staff?”]3 tickets is sufficient for the amount of crew needed for the event. 1 speaker for the pitch interview and 1 or 2 speakers for the breakout sessions. If you still want extra employees to visit the event, you can order extra tickets for € 65,- with a special discount code.

  • Speaker pitch interview
    The speaker of the pitch interview has to be present in Mechelen to be able to do the interview live. Please take into account the choice of the speaker.
  • Speaker(s) Breakout session
    The speaker(s) of the breakout does not have to be present in Mechelen, this breakout can be given from home or office. Of course you are more than welcome!

Inviting business relations

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Can I invite relations?”]Yes you can invite relations working on corporate or agency side (uzb/w&s/deta) to Demo_Day Belgium. They can sign up with a relation code so that their data is not shared with the partners. By default you have 5 relation codes which you can find here.

Access is free for the target group working on corporate or agency side (uzb/w&s/deta), but then by default the data will be shared with partners. Technical specs

  • Always convert text to outlines
  • Always convert full color to CMYK.
  • Create your file with a 3 mm bleed. Let your background run through the bleed, because here there is a minimum play during cutting. This prevents white edges after cutting and ensures that the background runs smoothly on all sides.
  • If you use images, we recommend a resolution of 300 DPI. Because this is not possible in all cases, we use a minimum resolution of 150 DPI.
    Create an advertisement in Adobe InDesign , Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop and submit the file as a print-ready pdf, written under PDF profile PDF/X 1a:2001. The files should be delivered as 1 layer.
    Deliver your file without cutting marks and print marks ( printer’s marks).

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What’s in the event magazine?”]To connect online and offline there is the event magazine where the program and the demos to be watched on the demo spots are an important part. In addition, each partner has a 1/1 page advertisement to present themselves.

Videos: introduction & demo

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”What should we submit as partners?”]As a partner of Demo_Day Belgium you have to deliver a proposal video of 30 seconds and a demo of 90 seconds.

  • Introductions video (<30 seconds)
    Each partner is introduced by means of a 30 second video. Here you can introduce the company and your team and give an impression of the office. As a partner you can deliver this 30 second video as a ready-made video, but you can also deliver 6 photos which will be converted into a video by Recruitment Tech. You can also submit text that will be recorded by voice over. This text may not contain more than 350 characters. This video is played as an introduction to the speaker during the pitch interview and gives speakers the opportunity to switch.
  • Demo (<90 seconds)
    Video should be delivered in an mp4 file without sound. This demo will be played during the pitch interview. Here the speaker of the pitch interview will give a live explanation of the demo and questions will be asked based on the demo.

Digital demo spot (booth)

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Is there a digital demo spot (booth) during Demo_Day Belgium?”]No, during Demo_Day Belgium Online there will be no digital demo spots. We have chosen for this event to create more interaction with the visitors. This will be done through breakout sessions, online speeddates and live pitches of partners. Leads

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”How can I generate leads?”]As a partner you generate leads in 4 stages via the so-called four stage lead generation:

  1. Before October 15th (you will receive October 6th and 13th)
    – Make appointments in advance via registration form
    – Name and address details registration for 12 minutes demo talks
    – Company name information 1 category (no name, follows 16 October)
  2. October 15: online live event (receive October 16)
    – Name and contact details of attendees breakout session
  3. October 19 – 23: replay week (receive October 26)
    – Name and contact details of the selected category
    – Name and contact details replay breakout session
  4. 23 until mid-November: demo of the day (receive real-time via cc)
    – Name and contact details replay demo talk

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”When and how do I receive the leads?”]As a partner you will receive all your leads via an xls file with a password on it if there is any personal information. The leads will be sent to the email address provided in advance. The password will be sent via Whatsapp or sms to the 06 number sent in advance. You will only receive the leads in 4. in real time via e-mail.

Prior to the event you will receive no first and last names and contact details. We do not want participants to be contacted by 20+ partners prior to the event.

Videos for demo spot, talk and pitch

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”What videos should we submit as a partner?”]As a partner of Demo_Day you have to submit a minimum of two and a maximum of four videos:

  • Demo talk (<12 minutes)
    Video of up to 12 minutes in which you give a demo of your solution. This video will be played automatically at a specific time in the program.
  • Demo on demo spot (<5 minutes)
    Video of up to 5 minutes in which you give a demo of your solution. This will be shown on your demo spot and can be played on demand by the visitor.
  • Welcoming or corporate video (<2 minutes) – OPTIONAL
    Optional video played on the big screen on the demo spot of up to 2 minutes in which you introduce your crew, invite visitors to get in touch with them and/or introduce the organization.
  • Pitch (<1 minute) – OPTIONAL
    Short pitch in which you tell visitors of Demo_Day why they should watch your demo talk and/or visit your demo spot on June 11th. These pitches will be published on the site in the week prior to the event and used on the day itself around tech talks by experts.

Online tool/platform

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Which tool is used to hold Demo_Day Belgium Online?”]We are using the Invitado tool on October 15th and for the replay week thereafter. Invitado is a Dutch tool that has all the ingredients to keep Demo_Day Belgium online: presentations, demos, networking and speed dates.

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I have to install something?”]Both visitors and partners do not have to install anything to visit the event online. You can visit the event with a PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone, although the screens are very small on a smartphone. Replay week

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”When is the replay week?”]The replay week takes place from Monday 19 until Friday 23 okotber 2020.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How is the replay week going?”]Both participants of 15 okotber and new participants can visit the online event in Engagez during the replay week to watch replay’s of demo and expert talks and visit the demo spots of partners.

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does sales need to be online during the replay week?”]Sales does not need to be online/logged in during the replay week. Their profiles are visible, but you can only email them or make an appointment (you will be notified by email). The chat function only works if you are logged in.

Tech Box

In the unlikely event of a lockdown, the online event will take place and pitch interviews and breakouts can be done from home/office.
